I do love a bit of snow…but not when it scuppers my plans for shoots and weddings…the weekend’s snowfall left me feeling a little sad as I had to postpone a shoot due to travel chaos caused by the snowfall Sunday! So, I was very relieved when on Monday morning I checked National Rail and all trains were running with minimum chaos (fab consdiering the grinding halt that had occured some 24 hours before!)! It was sooooo good to meet up with Jodie and Dan again, as they booked me way back in December 2010…it hadn’t felt that long though, because we’d kept in touch via Twitter and Facebook, and many an excited email has passed between us as I’ve had sneak peeks into the styling of their very cool wedding! What I really love about Jodie and Dan, is that they’ve kept everything about their Wedding local to where they live…right from invitations, hen/stag nights and the day itself – Deptford is truly where their hearts lie and it is central to their day, so it was great for me to have a walk-about in a new area of London…it’s got a cool vibe going on – epitomised by the Deptford Project train carriage cafe we enjoyed for a warm up, natter and latte. Can’t wait til their big day in 1.5 weeks time…eeek! Be sure to come back soon to see more of what promises to be a brilliant wedding!
