London Engagement Photography ~ Lucy & Andy ~ i heart u

Oh how I do love a bit of gritty London engagement photography…and the weekend just gone saw me indulging this very passion on a sunny and almost Summer like day in Shoreditch.  It’s hard to imagine that this time last year we had snow!  hehe  Lucy and Andy are getting married in rural Devon, and so really wanted a contrasting location for their engagement shoot.  With Andy’s love of street art and the fact he used to work in and around Shoreditch, it was the perfect backdrop for them.  We had alot of fun getting to know each other, creating some editorial type images and of course my signature relaxed natural photographs.  With the gritty backdrop it meant we did a few more editorial infused poses as it just leant itself to this type of mood…and I think both Lucy and Andy rocked the look totally – what do you think?

I seriously can’t wait until May for what promises to be the most beautiful wedding in both sentiment and style.  On describing their wedding plans when we first met, they emphasised the importance of ensuring their wedding is relaxed and fun for their guests.  They have lots of really thoughtful personal touches, and are involving their family and friends as much as possible – friends are playing music, reading poems and even Lucy’s Uncle is marrying them in a beautiful quaint English church by the sea in Noss Mayo –  a lovely little village in Devon.  With their perfect day culminating in celebrations at the rather fabulously elegant Shilstone.  Being a designer, Lucy’s wedding mood boards are to die for…think relaxed, quirky, elegant, pastels, natural, fun and stylish!  …be sure to pop back again soon for what promises to be a visual feast!
